IT Service Desk Support Engineer – £25000-£35,000 p.a.

A 2nd-3rd Line IT Service Desk Support Engineer is required by a customer-centric organisation based in Wimborne, Dorset. Experience providing IT support to customers on a service desk is required.
We are actively recruiting this position. All interviews and work requirements will continue to be handled safely, and with the greatest of care, as per the government social distancing guidelines.
Provide IT support to clients on the service desk
Assist in the planning and management of installation projects
Document and update projects and service tickets
Skills & Requirements:
Experience working in a 2nd line or 3rd line IT support role, preferably in a client-focused Managed Services (MSP) environment, with strong skills in some or all of the following:
Microsoft Server 2012/2016/2019
Cloud technologies, such as Microsoft 365
Routers and switches
Firewalls (preferably Fortigate, Palo Alto, Sophos, Cisco ASA or SonicWALL)
Virtual environments (preferably VMware) and disaster recovery
Must be comfortable and confident working in a customer-focused environment, able to provide advice and build relationships
Any certifications in CompTIA, Microsoft Server (MCSA/MCSE), Microsoft Cloud, Networking, Draytek, Fortigate and/or Project Management would be advantageous
Salary & Benefits
The salary is between £25,000 – 35,000 p.a. depending on level of skills and experience.
